Salahuddin Bakery, Downtown Johor Bahru

This bakery in downtown Johor Bahru has excellent breads and great prices. It is downtown in the historic district. It is on the same block as the Masjid India (an Indian Mosque).

Entrance to the bakery is on the left (unfortunately this is not a good photo, you can't see the name of the bakery for example).

  1. John,

Happy New Year and I hope you have a safe and healthy 2012!

My name is David and this is my first time contacting you. I’ve been following your Curiouscat Malaysia blogs in Johor Bahru, Malaysia for several months now. The information you provide are quite useful and enjoyable to read.

I too am a American expat from New York City, New York. I’ve visited almost 40 of our 50 States and lived in about eight different States. I presently reside in Taman Nusa Bestari, Johor Bahru. I’ve been living here in Malaysia for almost the past couple years. I do enjoy living in Southeast Asia with the tropical weather
    along with the rainy seasons.

I haven’t personally tried most of your experiences here but I really do enjoy following your blogs. Your a great blogger.

Have a good weekend coming up and thank you for all your inputs regarding living in Malaysia.

    Take care of yourself,
    David
